Where to look for Fossils Beachy Head?

(Beachy Head) - 1994

The chalk at Beachy head is of Lower Chalk and is very well exposed. Holaster Echinoids (Holaster plana) are not uncommon here. Micrasters (Micraster corbovis) and Conulus (Conulus subrotundus) can also be found. There is a large amount of chalk at Beachy Head, the only problem is there are no cliff falls to bring down the higher zones. The foreshore and base of the cliff is stained yellow through the high tides.

Cliff falls are about the only hope in finding decent specimens although if you search in between the algae, you may also be lucky.
